Artemis Ward is a digital creative agency based in Washington, D.C. Over my five years as a designer there, I had the opportunity to work with multiple clients across a wide range of industries, generating visual identities, websites, social content, photography, motion graphics, and videos. The following work was created during my tenure with the agency, or in a contractual capacity after my exit from my full-time position.

Artemis Ward Agency Reel

Digital creative agency Artemis Ward needed a video reel to showcase the breadth of its work over the first five years of its life. Multiple animated vignettes converge to create the sensation of floating through a digital retrospective.

New Music Friday

New Music Friday is a site by the Recording Industry Association of America that showcases the latest music releases each week. The animated header reveals and obstructs the site’s namesake in an attempt to underscore the ‘found’ nature of discovering a great new song, while the modular layout highlights album artwork and high-level information for each release. The header animation and secondary graphics are easily replaceable to allow for seasonal updates.

Nike Basketball Manifesto

Artemis Ward's work with Nike Basketball was showcased on the agency's 2020 website redesign. Though primarily focused on content & strategy, the agency required a visual component to accompany the case study. Static images combine with dynamic video effects, transitions, upbeat music, and animated typography to capture the energetic spirit of this global brand.

PhRMA: Medicines in Development

Artemis Ward's client PhRMA (Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America) needed organic and paid social media content to promote one of their reports on medicines currently in development to treat women's health issues. As a contractor, I worked with Artemis Ward's art director and copywriting team to create a suite of cohesive static and motion graphics that spoke to target audiences within the medical community.

Nike PG4 Shoe Release

Artemis Ward's work with Nike Basketball included animated social content to promote the release of the highly anticipated PG4 sneaker. Working under the direction of the Nike Basketball creative team, I animated pieces for Instagram & Twitter using pre-supplied creative assets.

Motion Picture Association

Working with the Motion Picture Association of America, Artemis Ward strategized evergreen and specialized campaign content for the client’s main social platforms — Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter — as well as in-house experiential designs. As the lead designer, I conceptualized, designed, and produced this content, which came to form in the life of motion graphics, promotional videos, and signage for the trade association's new office location.
